Job Description
The ideal candidate brings hands?on experience in the fixed income space, demonstrates strong ownership, and is capable of taking on leadership responsibilities within a fast?paced, high?volume environment. This includes supervising daily tasks, mentoring junior team members, and driving process improvements.
Purpose of the Role
The Fixed Income Operations Analyst will support full trade lifecycle events for all fixed income products traded across multiple business lines. Although many daily functions are outsourced to Broadridge Managed Services, the internal team remains fully accountable for all output and must supervise and validate vendor work. Cross?training, strong controls, and operational resilience are core expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Front Office to ensure accurate processing of all Credit and Rates trading activity.
- Monitor and resolve customer unaffirmed trades, street?side breaks, and failed trades.
- Oversee team processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Track, resolve, and UAT test issues or enhancements across internal and vendor systems.
- Handle and analyze transactions within areas of expertise; recommend or implement resolutions.
- Research and resolve position breaks and allocation discrepancies.
- Monitor Bank Cash Screens (BNY Fedwire) and GSCC/FICC clearing for U.S. Treasuries.
- Support all aspects of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage, including customer cash projections, settlements, trade processing, and account setup.
- Work with onboarding and trading teams to manage customer setups across multiple platforms.
- Review and execute daily controls across credit and rates vendor systems.
- Process and track corporate bond conversion requests.
- Collaborate with clients and Pershing to resolve settlement and corporate action?related breaks.
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and applicable exchange regulations.
- Adhere to operational risk frameworks and escalate risk events promptly.
- Serve as a role model for integrity, conduct, and adherence to company values and policies.
- Provide input to risk management processes as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience
Required
- 1–3 years of Fixed Income Operations experience.
- Broadridge Impact and Pershing NetX360 experience.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle events.
- Experience supporting corporate bond and U.S. Treasury trading.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income Prime Brokerage.
- Experience with Fedwire, DTCC clearing, and international settlements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a regulated environment with awareness of risk and compliance requirements.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree.
- FINRA Series 99 (or willingness to obtain).
