Aegistech’s Roots

We were founded in the mid-90s in New York City, built by a team of top technologists providing corporations with solid IT solutions, specifically for global investment banks. Our founder, Stanley Adelman, a hands-on technologist in financial services, whose vision was a to help IT technologists elevate their careers in the corporate marketplace. At this time corporations were struggling to hire experienced IT professionals to help them build internal solutions using new technologies that addressed their competitive needs. Our technologists were able to fill the gaps in the client’s workforce by offering deep expertise in the design and development of these solutions. By the early 2000’s we had morphed into two organizations – Aegis Software who provided IT Solutions and Aegistech, created to provide consulting services and full-time placement directly to corporate clients. 20+ years later, we now provide services to clients throughout the country across a wide range of industries.

Today, Aegistech continues this tradition of elevating IT careers. Our team is now nationwide and in India. We service clients and candidates alike in the US and Canada, connecting great talent with amazing opportunities. With our roots solely in the technology sector, our core expertise has always included project management, a critical aspect of the roles we fill. This foundation has seamlessly extended our capabilities into the engineering and construction sector.

The expansion into construction and engineering proved successful, as the Aegistech’s unique positioning attracted a new client base while also providing additional value to their existing IT clients. We aim to blend the precision of technology with the craftsmanship of engineering and construction.

We are proud long-standing members and contributors to TechServe Alliance, an IT Staffing association that focuses on ethical business best practices.

Aegistech’s focus has always been to provide our clients with top IT professionals. This business goes by many names; Consulting, Temporary Staffing, Contracting or Staff Augmentation. In this area, our three main goals are to provide our clients with highly talented contractors who can hit the ground running, find and get them started quickly and provide a reasonable cost model.

Aegistech has a dedicated full-time direct hire team, focused on building relationships with top passive talent in the marketplace on an ongoing basis. It provides us with the foundation necessary to help our clients quickly fill time-sensitive and critical positions in their IT departments. We guarantee our work!

Contract-to-Hire

Contract-to-Hire

Aegistech provides clients with a third option for obtaining talent, a Contract-to-Hire model. This model works like a “working interview”, ensuring the client is getting the experience and skill level that they desire in a candidate. The “test drive” or “Try and Buy” method offers the client flexibility in their hiring needs to consider a candidate who may be missing an important skillset but has great potential.
